For me, photography has been a passion since early high school. I remember taking my camera everywhere I went, photographing relatives, babies, pets and everything in between. I moved from black and white to color film and continued to enjoy this art form even more when the digital age fell upon us.
Digital Photography only opened up more aspects of photography for me. It was after buying my first digital SLR camera that I realized the sky was the limit. My creativity was only beginning to be tapped, and I knew my passion for the art of photography was about to rise to a whole new level.
First, friends and family began to ask me to take photos for them. Then, slowly, referrals began to produce paying clients, and I knew I was destined to do this professionally.
Since then I have had the pleasure of meeting and photographing some of the finest people in the world and some of the cutest kids you'll ever see.
Family lifestyle photography is what I love to do. Capturing my subject’s “real” personality is my goal. This is something that cannot be achieved through forced smiles and poses. Photographs should capture expressions that come from true emotions such as laughter, playfulness between siblings, toothless grins, baby smiles and joyful expressions.
I have children, and I know how quickly time passes when it comes to their growing and maturing. For this reason alone, I think it is so important to turn everyday moments into lasting memories you can feel. My unique photographs will allow you to preserve and share that feeling forever! The photos I take today become the heirlooms that are past on for generations to come.
