Where to Go for your session

I serve all of Florida, and I am available to travel outside of the state of Florida as well. Please contact me for dates and availability.

Your Session will be at the location of your choice. Outdoor sessions are wonderful for older babies and children. Nature provides an excellent backdrop and triggers your child's imagination, creating special and unique moments. Indoor locations with bright natural light also work wonderfully and, if you choose, I can incorporate both into your session. Outdoor photo sessions are best scheduled for early morning or late afternoon/evening to take advantage of the best available light. For sessions held indoors, the time may vary depending on when the best natural light is available.

I have several favorite locations locally, as well as in surrounding areas. I can also suggest indoor locations if the weather does not permit an outdoor photo session. You may choose one of these sites or feel free to choose your own favorite setting.

What to Wear for your session

I love to photograph children in bright colors, but I will work with you and/or your child's own style to get the best results. Newborns are always beautiful in cloth diapers and diaper covers and blankets. All of these work well in the photos.

If you have special items to include in the session, I would be happy to accommodate you. I can incorporate cute hats on older babies. Textures work well on children, as well as bare feet or sandals. Avoid very busy plaids or patterns that will draw the focus away from your child, and please do not mix casual and formal attire.

If you are unsure of what to wear, feel free to contact me for advice on what looks best in portraits. For maternity sessions, we can discuss the best way to accentuate this beautiful time of your life. My wife Jodi will be happy to assist us with choice and execution of your wardrobe. We want you to feel relaxed and comfortable.

What to Expect at your session

Your session will last anywhere from one to four hours depending on your choice in sessions and will include time for breaks and clothing changes if needed.

Your session will be my priority and I like to keep each session relaxed and unhurried. The focus is on you, your child and/or family. Keep in mind that children often relax more for photographs while you are in the background (but always nearby).

I like to capture the kids being kids - relaxed and un-posed for a natural look and feel. When kids are relaxed and having fun, the photos reflect that and, in turn, truly capture their personalities and "real" smiles.

How you will see the Results of your session

Your proofs will be ready to view approximately 1-2 weeks after your session. All orders are placed at your scheduled ordering session. Your photographs will be placed in a password-protected online gallery a few days before your ordering session. I will email you the information required for you to access and view your photos. Feel free to have friends and family view the gallery as well.

Payment Policies

Orders can not be cancelled or altered once placed, and payment is due at the time of ordering. Due to the custom nature of each photo session, all sales are final. Payment may be made by cash, check, money order or credit card. Non-Sufficient Fund checks are subject to a $35 fee. In the case of NSF accounts, your account balance must be paid in full with either cash or money order.

Cancellation Policy

A 24-hour notice is required for all cancellations and re-bookings. Your session fee will be applied to the reschedule date. Your session fee will be forfeited if you fail to show up at your appointment time.

Copyright Policy

All clients are required to sign a copyright notice and model release before their session. Guy Hoffman Photography reserves the right to use the images and/or reproductions for display, publication, or other purposes. Negatives, Digital Files and Originals remain the property of Guy Hoffman Photography, Guy Hoffman. All images are protected by Federal Copyright laws and are not to be reproduced in any form or manner without explicit permission from Guy Hoffman, the Photographer. This includes copying, emailing, and scanning.
